In the article there were numerous things that I agreed with and many I did not. Personally am an avid texter (at least until 3 months ago when I lost my phone which I have failed to replace) and I don’t believe that open social networking should be smothered in any way. In reality I think texting has done a lot more good then bad, I find myself more adapt to do “multitasking” easier and more efficiently. I feel a huge part is that the older generations don’t understand the younger’s need to stay socially intact. I understand that constant use of these materials can alter or decrease things as important as business flow. And I have experienced/witnessed a hefty amount of lack-of-sleep induced by late night texting. As in any situation there are people that take things to far such as becoming rude and indignant or aptly obsessive. I think in moderation texting and open social networking can succeed in developing better ways to conduct more improved business and stay supplementary intact, socially.
