Reflection

At the end of August and the beginning of September we did a lot of scetchup which was uber fun. I love 3d modeling and the projects we had to were very entertaining. other then that the other things weren't the greatest... But the majority was based on scetchup so it was a good couple months.

The ability for creativity was huge and i along with the people around me (and across the room) also got to enjoy my project. It taught me how to use 3D modeling and i'm very proud of my castle. Though i could have done a better job if i had more time i'm very happy with my project.

Facebook Screening

As for the employer side i fell this is a bit of a sneaky underhanded way to retrieve information, but i believe it is a totally smart and perfectly fair thing to do. It might invade on things a person may have preferred for just there close friends or family to see, but as the saying goes "never write anything down that you don't want to be read". And on top of that there are security systems that only allow certain people to view such a profile or information, so if you would wish you could simply enforce the barrier and do what you will from "behind" it. Further still if your profile is clean and makes you look better as a person then this could really cut you and your future employer a nice break.

There's no tech........

The parody of "Imagine" was purely brutal murder. The guy had absolutely no ability to sing and he was full of crap laughing at his rather obscene jokes. But that being beside the point the song was at least an effective parody. It made you think what this world would be like without technology. And you know..... it was creative and stuff....

Texing Article Reflection

In the article there were numerous things that I agreed with and many I did not. Personally am an avid texter (at least until 3 months ago when I lost my phone which I have failed to replace) and I don’t believe that open social networking should be smothered in any way. In reality I think texting has done a lot more good then bad, I find myself more adapt to do “multitasking” easier and more efficiently. I feel a huge part is that the older generations don’t understand the younger’s need to stay socially intact. I understand that constant use of these materials can alter or decrease things as important as business flow. And I have experienced/witnessed a hefty amount of lack-of-sleep induced by late night texting. As in any situation there are people that take things to far such as becoming rude and indignant or aptly obsessive. I think in moderation texting and open social networking can succeed in developing better ways to conduct more improved business and stay supplementary intact, socially.
